The Town of Jackson, in partnership with Redcliffe Elementary School, invites you to the 10th Annual Hook and Cook Festival! The festival will be held at the Jackson Community Center and Pavilion on Main Street in Jackson, South Carolina on Friday, October 20th and Saturday, October 21st. The Festival will include live entertainment and a dessert competition on Friday night. Saturday’s festivities will include a BBQ Cook off, fishing tournament, a car and boat show, classic tractors, arts and crafts, food vendors, kids’ inflatables, and much more!
ADMISSION IS FREE!!
The Festival will begin with a dessert competition Friday evening. The entry fee is $10 paying $100 for 1st Place, and $50 for 2nd place.
The S.C. BBQ Association sanctioned Cook-off judging will be held on Saturday.
Cash prized include:
Grand Champion prize of $1,000 will be paid to the top cooking team based upon total accumulative score.
The 100% payback fishing tournament begins at safe daylight on Saturday morning with weigh-in at 3:00PM. Entry fees are $50 per boat and an options big fish pot of $10. The fishing tournament pays four categories including pan fish, bass, striper/hybrid, and catfish.
BBQ pork and chicken dinners will be sold Saturday beginning at 11:00AM until sold out.
